Flexeras - Helmet with vibration sensor for excavator operators

Fraunhofer researchers have developed a helmet with an integrated acceleration sensor for drivers of construction machinery. The helmet sensors measure the vibrations emitted by the construction machinery that are harmful to human health and affect the human body. The sensor signals are analyzed and software displays the level of exposure to the wearer. This allows measures to be taken to reduce the exposure.
